The 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron has arrived in North America after launched in Europe during the previous summer. Boasting an impressive EPA-estimated range of up to 392 miles, the latest model offers considerable driving distance. A6 E-Tron is the longest-range EV in the German manufacturer’s lineup in America, notably outperforming Q6 E-Tron ’s 321 EPA-rated figure.

As mentioned, both the A6 E-Tron and Q6 E-Tron utilize the samePremium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture. This design enables the battery pack to be positioned low within the floor, potentially enhancing rear passenger comfort as passengers won't have to sit with their legs uncomfortably raised.

Regarding the battery, the A6 E-Tron offers only one choice: a 100-kilowatt-hour unit (which holds 94.4 kilowatt-hours when full). This model supports charging rates of up to 270 kW using sufficiently potent DC rapid chargers, enabling an increase from 10% to 80% charge within about 21 minutes.

The pack has a rating of 800 volts, with the fastest charging occurring when connected to an 800V DC rapid charger. However, the electric A6 also works well with older 400V chargers. In such cases, the battery splits into two separate 400V sections that charge simultaneously at a rate of up to 135 kW each. If using an AC charger, the electric sedan can draw up to 9.6 kW from a 240V Level 2 source operating at 40 amperes.

The base 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron comes with a single, rear-mounted 375-horsepower rear electric motor. It starts from $67,195 (including destination) for the entry-level Premium trim and goes up to $73,495 for the top Prestige version. The maximum range of 392 miles can only be achieved by the rear-wheel drive variant when equipped with 19-inch wheels and all-season tires.

It's noteworthy that Audi's infotainment system based on Android Automotive OS provides an extensive range of features at no additional cost. The fundamental Connect Care bundle does not necessitate a paid subscription and includes services such as remote engine startup, remote door locking and unlocking, remote climate control activation, real-time vehicle condition monitoring, remote battery charge management, and emergency roadside support.

There are two additional connectivity choices offered. The Connect Nav option includes a complimentary three-year trial period and features satellite images, live traffic updates, details about electric vehicle charging stations, online parking data, and a sophisticated 3D urban landscape view. Additionally, the Connect Plus tier provides a Wi-Fi hot spot, internet streaming radio, and access to Audi’s application store; this package also offers a six-month free trial upon subscription.
